We’re a group of people who enjoy playing brass, but we don’t like what we usually get to play:
When you tell someone you play the trumpet, or the piano, or any classical instrument, they always ask you if you know this famous trumpeter or that classical piece of music. “Well, you’re not a real brass player unless you’ve performed this.” No. We just want to play what we feel like playing. It doesn’t make us any more or less of an instrumentalist.

…or something like this:
I think the hardest part of finding a group isn’t just finding people you can play with, but people who understand what you’re trying to do musically and is able to play with you. Any idiot can start a group. But being able to play well together, play things that everybody is interested in, etc … every step gets harder and harder.

What should we do.
